Building a Family-Oriented Practice

From the beginning, we knew that providing outstanding pet medical care was just the beginning. We wanted to create an environment where clients feel valued, heard, and supported. That’s why we strongly emphasize good communication and client education.

Dr. Morrow and her dedicated team go above and beyond to ensure that every client understands the “why” behind the recommended treatments and procedures, empowering them to make informed decisions about their pet’s well-being.

Meet Our Team!

Dr. Cathie Morrow – Veterinarian

Dr. Cathie Morrow – Veterinarian

Dr. Cathie Morrow spent much of her young life considering the human healthcare profession but rethought that career path after a few less-than-stellar work experiences in college. When she started milking cows at a local dairy farm, something clicked — Dr. Morrow realized that she would love to couple her passion for medicine with her love of animals!

After graduating high school, Dr. Morrow attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to earn a double major in biology and animal science, along with a double minor in chemistry and conservation. She also attended veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

Dr. Morrow is fond of challenging medical cases and loves diagnostic work that helps her to get to the bottom of a health concern. She’s also passionate about preventative medicine and likes to get puppies, kittens, and other new pets off to a great start by teaching owners the best care techniques for their beloved companions.

Outside the office, Dr. Morrow enjoys horseback riding (she’s been riding since she was five), running and strength training, scrapbooking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and pets. She and her husband, Pete — a veterinarian himself — have two wonderful, almost-grown children, Autumn and Zach.

Leigh Heber – Veterinary Nurse

Leigh Heber – Veterinary Nurse

Leigh grew up on a farm in Red Wing, MN, with her parents and two siblings. She has always had an affinity for animals, and her family encouraged her to pursue that passion throughout her childhood.

She began her career as a kennel technician at a clinic in Texas and eventually worked up to a vet tech role assisting with appointments. After moving back to the Midwest, Leigh worked in a few different industries before jumping back into the veterinary field.

Leigh is a caregiver by nature, and she loves helping patients heal before sending them back to their loving families. She’s enthusiastic about diagnostics and loves putting the pieces together to understand patients’ needs better. As a veterinary nurse, Leigh also focuses her time on patient advocacy and client education.

At home, she has four furry family members who fill her life with adventure and excitement: Murphy, Forrest, Tyson, and Boone. Leigh also spends much of her time away from work with horses and likes to trail ride on most weekends with family or friends!

Maggie Pogany – Office Manager

Maggie Pogany – Office Manager

Maggie is from southern Wisconsin and worked in the banking industry for 15 years before changing fields. Growing up on a 180-acre family farm, she always enjoyed spending time with animals and chose to pursue a career in the veterinary field to grow that love.

From farm animals to beloved pets, Maggie believes all of Earth’s creatures are a true gift and is honored to help keep them healthy. Her favorite part of every shift is meeting new pet owners and their adorable companions, and she takes pride in being part of their care.

Maggie lives with her husband, Jesse, and her three fun-loving kids: Kristen, Alyssa, and Jake. They share their home with their energetic dog, Champ, who loves going on runs, and a horse named Della, who has been a good partner for the last 20 years.

Outside of work, Maggie spends time horseback riding and has trained five horses in her life from start to finish. She also enjoys hunting and fishing with her family. One day, she would like to travel out west with Della to ride in the wide-open spaces.

Abby Johnson – Veterinary Assistant

Abby is a Mondovi native who has always loved helping sick animals. When she was young, one of her family dogs contracted parvo as a puppy. Abby was inspired to pursue a career with animals after watching the veterinarian and staff come together to provide care for her puppy.

During her first year of college, Abby started as a veterinary assistant at All Paws and has worked here ever since. She loves the fast-paced environment and seeing how she can impact animals’ lives here. Working with pet patients fills her with joy, and Abby finds her position very rewarding.

Abby lives at home with her parents and has a cat named Darla, who loves to play. She also has a twin sister, Izzy, and an older sister, Kenzie. In her free time, Abby loves to be outdoors and spends a lot of time fishing and hunting.

Sheena Lowenhagen- Veterinary Nurse

Abby Johnson – Veterinary Assistant

Sheena, a devoted mother of three, has a profound affection for animals. Following seven years as a dedicated stay-at-home mom, she turned her lifelong aspiration into reality by joining our team in 2021. She began as an assistant and, through her unwavering dedication, climbed the ranks to become a valued nurse.

Sheena’s inspiration stems from her childhood on an Elk ranch, where she witnessed a life-saving surgery that ignited her passion for animal care. She is passionate about diagnostics and building strong bonds with patients and their owners.

Originally from Milwaukee, Sheena moved to Mondovi as a child, where she developed a deep love for horses. She now lives with her husband, Les, and three boys, Jack, Asher, and Liam, who share her enthusiasm for sports, animals, and music. Their large family includes four dogs, three cats, and four beloved horses.

Outside of work, Sheena is a drummer and vocalist in a ‘50s and ‘60s rock and roll band, a passion she shares with her brother. Her remarkable journey from stay-at-home mom to devoted veterinary nurse, coupled with her love for animals, makes Sheena a cherished member of our team.

Kymber Colbert – Veterinary Nurse

Abby Johnson – Veterinary Assistant

Kymber is from Arizona, where she began her veterinary journey after graduating from a veterinary assistant program. She worked at a veterinary hospital in Arizona for 13 years before moving to Wisconsin. Kymber is returning to All Paws Animal Hospital after 2.5 years, not just as a homecoming but an exciting new chapter as she works towards earning her certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

Since she was a little girl, Kymber has had an unwavering passion for animal care. Her professional interests are diverse, spanning educating pet owners, surgery, and dentistry—all areas where she loves to see the before-and-after results of happy pets.

Outside the clinic, Kymber is an avid explorer of nature’s trails with her Australian Shepherd, Lacey, who is her constant companion on hikes and camping trips. Together, they share the goal of trekking through America’s National Parks. Whether navigating the rugged terrains in a side-by-side or exploring new places, Kymber is up for the adventure.
